Parasite (2019) dir. Bong Joon Ho

Parasite is a dark comedy thriller about class disparity. A prominent motif in this film is stairs to represent climbing to the upper class, so I incorporated an ascending stair design. A major turning point in the film is when a flood occurs and the belongings of lower class families who live in the literal lowest parts of the city have their homes and belongings destroyed, while the upper class families remain safe and dry overnight. I created a wave to show the lowest part of the stairs being flooded.

I can't decide whether I like the first poster or second, so here's both of them. For the purpose of the assignment, I'd have to go with the first, since it's a lot more minimalist, haha. Let me know what you guys think!

Us (2019) dir. Jordan Peele

Us is a psychological horror thriller about doppelgangers. In this movie, doppelgangers living underground want to replace their counterparts to obtain the privileges enjoyed above ground. Duality being a main theme, I included two rabbits, which are shown throughout the film.

I highly recommend both movies, by the way. They're the kind of movies that really make you think, and I love that! Everyone have a great weekend. :)
